This video above is Kojo Nnamdi talking about the tone of the Mayor's race and the obscene display of the electorate again Mayor Adrian Fenty. He makes some good points about how DC residents choose their battles, even when the battle they are waging is less smart than the one they need to wage.
And is Kojo right? Do people look for style over substance? Definitely! Why do I say this? Because at the moment, Gray is the "it" candidate. He has presented himself solely as the Fenty alternative, but has lacked to present any real platform on what he wants to do as Mayor (except reverse the policies of Mayor Fenty- unless you're talking about Michelle Rhee, now that's a "maybe").
